Hello Visitors,
Welcome to our African Folk Tale Blog. This blog contains 20 folk tales, written and read by the 3rd graders in Sarah’s class at MCDS. The tales were inspired by research conducted for their African animal reports, an offshoot of the larger 3rd Grade Africa Unit (Sarah’s class studied the Zulu culture). Student voices were recorded using Garage Band, and accompanying pictures were drawn in KidPix.
We know that the 3rd graders would appreciate any and all comments you may have about their folk tales. Just click on the link that says “0 Comments” to leave your responses. (You won’t see your comments “go live” immediately, because they are approved by the moderator.) Feel free to pass our website information along to others as well, and be sure to visit Sue’s Class Blog to hear more folk tales.
